A variety of page spreads from my self-written story focusing on Mary Anning.
'The Curiosity' description:
Mary Anning (1799-1847) was an English fossil hunter and palaeontologist who was born in Lyme Regis, Dorset.  She can hear fossils in the rocks whispering to each other.  They hold millions of years of history in their spirals, and when they reach the surface they call out to passers-by, hoping to be listened to.  However, recently all the small murmurs have been drowned out by one fossil shouting above the rest.  Mary knows that there is something different about this fossil.  Something extraordinary.  she has named it 'The Curiosity'.
